Kaduna State has been ranked the best-governed state in Nigeria, clinching the top spot in the newly released CIAPS Governance Performance Index (CGPI) with a score of 73%. The ranking reflects Kaduna’s outstanding strides in transparency, e-governance, and service delivery under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani. The CGPI, published by the Centre for International Advanced and Professional Studies (CIAPS), evaluated all 36 states across key metrics including digital governance, public accountability, responsiveness, and administrative efficiency. ‘Nigeria ranked third-worst in global good governance index’ – Report
Nigeria has been ranked the third-worst score in the inaugural Chandler Good Government (CGGI) Index launched yesterday in Singapore. The country scored 0.319 points, to sit at number 102 out of 104 countries on the league table, which measures 104 governments effectiveness and capabilities in almost 90 percent of the worlds population.
