As part of efforts to ensure a hitch-free 61st independence celebration on Friday, the workers at the Federal Secretariat complexes, Phases 1-3, must vacate their offices on or before 2 pm tomorrow, Thursday. Scrap redundant federal agencies – Senate tells Buhari

The Nigerian Senate has urged the Federal Government to reduce the number of its agencies in order to reduce cost of governance. The recommendation was contained in a report on the 2021-2023 medium term expenditure framework (MTEF) and fiscal strategy paper (FSP) approved by the senate. The report was presented by Solomon Adeola, chairman of the senate committee on finance.
