South-East: IPOB accuses Simon Ekpa of working for DSS

The banned Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB), has accused its factional leader, Simon Ekpa, of conspiring with the Department of State Services (DSS) to bring the group down. The groups Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, stated this in a statement issued yesterday and made available to newsmen in Awka, the Anambra State capital. According to the statement, Ekpa was trained by the DSS and sent into IPOB as a mole in 2016. Nnamdi Kanu disowns Ekpa, orders end to sit-at-home

The leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB)Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, declared an end to all sit-at-home order in the South-East region and any other proposed means aimed by the group at forcing the Government to release him from detention. Kanu made the declaration in a handwritten letter authorised to his special counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, to be read out to newsmen during a world press conference held in Enugu yesterday.
