Bauchi State governor, Sen. Bala Mohammed yesterday said the State now ranks as the 8th poorest in the country. Mohammed stated this in Bauchi, during a ‘Town Hall Meeting with the Senate Committee on Poverty Alleviation and Social Investment Programmes’. The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Alh. The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has appointed Balaraba Ibrahim as Special Assistant on Women Affairs (Unmarried).
