At least six people have been confirmed dead in an attack by suspected bandits on Tudun-Doki village in Gwadabawa LGA of Sokoto state. The State’s Police spokesperson, Ahmed Rufa’i, said the attack happened “in the early hours” of yesterday — a day Muslims around the world are celebrating Eid-el-Kabir. Over 200 houses reportedly razed in Plateau attack

Over 200 houses were reportedly burnt by suspected herdsmen on Saturday night in Jebbu, Miango, Bassa local government area of Plateau State. The attack, according to sources, was triggered by an age-long tussle for land in the area between Miango community and Fulani. It was gathered that three persons were injured during the incident. Bandits attack Kaduna Police Division headquarters

Scores of bandits on Friday night attacked a Divisional Police Headquarters in Kaduna, leaving an Inspector and two other personnel injured. The Kaduna State Police spokesman, ASP Muhammed Jalige, who confirmed the attack to newsmen on Saturday, said the attackers targeted the Division’s armoury.
