Just In: JAMB cancels UTME cut-off marks

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, (JAMB), has cancelled the traditional national cut-off marks for admissions into Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education in the country. This means that institutions are now at liberty to set their minimum benchmark for admissions into their various institutions as approved, on Tuesday, at the 2021 policy meeting on administrations to tertiary institutions in Nigeria. 2021 UTME: Only 0.06% of candidates scored 300 above ? JAMB Registrar

The Registrar of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, has disclosed that only 0.06 percent representing about 803 of the more than 1.3 million candidates who sat for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, (UTME), scored 300 and above. A total of 1,338,687 candidates registered for the 2021 UTME, which commenced nationwide from May 19, 2021 and ended on July 3. No fresh UTME for candidates – JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, (JAMB),  says it has not fixed another examination for any category of candidates on July 3 as being peddled in some quarters. The Board’s Head of Media and Protocol, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, told newsmen yesterday in Lagos that the report “is not correct”. JAMB releases 2021 UTME results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, (JAMB) yesterday released results of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for candidates who wrote the test between last Saturday and Tuesday.
