The Renewed Kaduna Restoration Group, (RKRG), has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the recomposition of the Board of the North-West Development Commission (NWDC), with the nomination to Senate of Alhaji Lawal Sama’ila Abdullahi Yakawada, from Kaduna State, as Chairman.
Reacting to the good news, the Association, in a statement issued by its Chairman, Alhaji (Dr) Ahmed Tijjani Ramalan, said the Board rejig is a welcome development.
The RKRG leader described the Board members as people of competence and character, who will be loyal to the President to fulfill the Commission’s agenda, adding that their appointments have elicited joy and brought happiness to the people of Kaduna State.
The RKRG urged the appointees to work diligently to realize the NWDCs mandate and promote regional development aimed at addressing the regions Security, Poverty Agricultural Solid Mineral, Out-of-school children challenges, as well as Infrastructure and Environmental issues.
