The Peoples Democratic Party PDP is demanding the investigation of the ruling All Progressive Congres APC in Kaduna State for alleged sharing of money to potential voters and collecting their Permanent Voters Cards PVCs.
The PDP sait it has come to their knowledge that some apc members in Kaduna state are sharing Ten thausand naira each to prospective Voters after collecting their PVC.
It said what started as a rumour that Senator Uba Sani has earmarked billions of Naira for vote buying where 15 people are currently being selected per each polling unit across the state in order to execute the plan has now became true.
A statement by the party state secretary Secretary Aliyu Ibrahim Wusono said the panic plan clearly shows that apc has realized that, despite the Muslim Muslim ticket, Kaduna state people are determined to vote them out and therefore cooked this plan which clearly shows how desperate apc is to retain power in the state.
PDP said no amount of Money will make people change their minds and hereby called on EFCC and the police to investigate the allegation to find out the source of the funds, the motive behind it for possible prosecution of the culprits.
The full statement titled “PDP Asks EFCC to Investigate the source of Money being shared to prospective Voters in kaduna state” reads;
“It has come to our knowledge that,
some APC members in Kaduna State are sharing Ten thousand naira each to prospective Voters after collecting their PVCs.
“What started as a rumour that Senator Uba Sani has earmarked billions of Naira for vote buying where 15 people are currently being selected per each polling unit across the state in order to execute the plan has now became true.
“This panic plan clearly shows APC has realized that, despite the Muslim Muslim ticket, Kaduna State people are determined to vote them out and therefore cooked this plan which clearly shows how desperate State APC is to retain power in the state.
“We wish to assure them that no amount of money will make people change their minds.
PDP hereby called on EFCC and the police to investigate this scandal to find out the source of the funds, the motive behind it for possible prosecution of the culprits.
“Let us emphasized that people of Kaduna State are wise enough to be deceived by these scam. You can’t destroy people’s means of livehood, destroy educational sector , commercialize health sector and put people in abject poverty and despair but expect them to vote your candidates.
“Futhermore, as reiterated in his recent media chart , Gov El rufa’i confirmed that all policies executed in the state in the last 7 years have the blessings of Senator Uba Sani, now APC governorship candidate and that the Senator is being an Abuja guy will not spare the people like how he (El rufa’i) did.
“We are therefore challenging Senator Uba Sani to come clear on this information as sharing trader money some few months to election will not help him “
