A multi-agency committee, including ONSA, Customs, NDLEA, NAFDAC, and the Army, has been established to investigate the origins and owners of these substances, confiscate and destroy them, and ensure the safety and security of the nation’s ports and borders.

Drug abuse is a key driver of violent crimes and insecurity, posing serious risks to public health and national stability.

This initiative is a bold step toward dismantling the networks fueling the narcotics trade and prioritizing the safety and well-being of Nigerians.
