The Kaduna House of Assembly has declared the seat of Hon. Aminu Abdullahi Shagali, member representing Sabon-Gari constituency, for being absent from all the Assembly’s activities for more than a year without any reason.
The decision was made by the House during the plenary presided by the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Dr. Isaac Auta Zankai, yesterday.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), is expected to announce a date of re-run election for the seat.
The House also extended the suspension of the 3 members: Hon. Yusuf Liman, (Makera), Hon. Isah Hazo (Basawa), Hon. Nuhu Goro Shadalafiya (Kagarko) and another member, Hon. Salisu Isa, member representing Magajin-Gari constituency, for another 12months.
