Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has approved the appointment of Ishaku Tagwai Sambo as the new Chief of Moro’a, following the demise of His Highness, Malam Tagwai Sambo.

An issued press statement, signed by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Local Government Affairs, Dr. Mahmud Lawal, stated that the appointment is with immediate effect.
According to the statement, “all other arrangements for the installation ceremony and presentation of staff of office would be announced in due course. The Governor congratulates the newly appointed Chief for a well deserved appointment and wishes him success and God’s guidance,” the statement added.
According to the statement, Sambo was the Madakin Moro’a before his appointment as Chief of Moro’a.
The new Chief, who was born on 20th August, 1976, is the deceased Chief’s son. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, (ABU), Zaria in 2009.
Before his appointment, he was working with the National Commission for Refugees Migrants and Internally-Displaced Persons(NCFRMI), Kaduna Field Office as an Administrative Officer-I.
