The President Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Isah Abubakar, has blamed the rising insecurity in the country on criminals like Boko Haram, bandits, whom he said are taking advantage of weak government to perpetuate evil.
In a statement issued yesterday, Abubakar said that the state of the nation is such that anybody who decides to migrate could be excused as the country has gotten to the level of a failed State, where anarchy has become the order of the day.
He stressed that with the level that the country has fallen in terms of security, anyone desiring to leave the county could be justified as there is nothing to hope for anymore.
Abubakar maintained that President Muhammadu Buhari has failed Nigerians and has disappointed the citizens who voted him into power.
“The possibility of having a Nigeria of our dream is fast slipping off our fingers. We need character reformation, behavioral change, institutional reform”, it stated.
