The Federal Government has approved a downward review of the electricity traffic for customers under Band-A, from N225/kWh to N206.80/kWh.
This review of the electricity tariff against the stipulated N225/kWh announced by the Nigeria Electricity Regulations Commission, (NERC).
According to the announcement, the downward tariff review of Band-A feeders became effective on May 6th, 2024, with guaranteed availability of 20-24hrs supply daily.
The company also stated that the tariff for Bands-B, C, D, and E remains unchanged.
Meanwhile, Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IE), in a statement yesterday, stated; “Please be informed of the downward tariff review of our Band A feeders from N225/kwh to N206.80/kwh effective 6th May 2024, with guaranteed availability of 20-24hrs supply daily.
“The tariff for Bands B, C, D, and E remains (unchanged.)”.
