One of the most prominent political allies of the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufa’i, A’isha Galadima, has been arrested in Kaduna.
The arrest, according to a source, was connected to a post on her Facebook page, criticising Governor Uba Sani.
The female politician was picked up by the operatives of the Department of State Services, (DSS), from her residence yesterday.
The development was confirmed via a telephone conversation, by one of her brothers, who said: A’isha has just been arrested by the DSS at her Tudun-Wada residence in Kaduna.
When contacted, the DSS was however unable to confirm the arrest as of the time of filing this report.
