Members of the deadly Boko Haram terrorist sect, on Thursday, invaded the police mobile training school in the Limankara Gwoza local government area of Borno State abducting many people in the process.

According to a top security reporter, Zagazola, Boko Haram terrorists have abducted an unspecified number of mobile policemen at the police mobile training school in Limankara Gwoza local government area of Borno State, the hometown of Senator Ali Ndume, the Chairman Senate Committee on Army.

It was gathered that the insurgent fighters attacked the training school, the TY Buratai War and Peace Centre, located at Buratai village, around 8:22 on Thursday night with gun trucks and shot sporadically into the air before kidnapping the Mobile Police instructors.

The training school, which is located twenty-five kilometers from Gwoza town, is a border town between Borno and Madagali LGA of Adamawa State.

The attack is coming seven days after the terrorists attempted to infiltrate the Nigerian Army base in Gwoza, in which they were successfully repelled by men of the Nigerian army.

The Senate Committee on Army, led by Senator Ali Ndume, paid a working visit to the Theatre Commands ‘OperationHadin Kai‘ in the area two days ago.

Recall that recently, Borno State governor, Babagana Zulum lamented the current security situation in the State and the Northwest as he charged the military not to relax or rest on their oars.

The Islamic State in West Africa Province, (ISWAP) has released a video of its fighters attacking the institute.

In the video, the insurgents were seen firing in different directions with no resistance from troops after which they started pulling down flags on the campus and torched some military vehicles on ground.
