Says 2023 election not a ‘do-or-die’ affair
The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, (APC)’s National Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) and Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni, has announced that the national convention of the party will be held on February, 26.

Buni revealed this yesterday, while delivering a speech at the maiden National Progressives Women Conference, which held in Abuja.
According to him, with 41 million registered APC members, the party will win the 2023 elections, adding that the party was counting on the support of women to hold a successful convention as well as win the 2023 elections.
He specifically charged women to preach the doctrine of peaceful elections across the country ahead of the 2023 general elections.
You should enlighten your spouses, children, brothers, in-laws, neighbours and the larger society that we must not see the election as a do-or-die affair. We should promote peaceful elections and service delivery against personal gains, he said.
Buni also cautioned politicians not to see the 2023 general elections as a do-or-die affair.
He expressed gratitude to the partys women for their support before, during and after the exercise.
He said the party was looking forward to more support from the women during its Feb. 26, National Convention and during the 2023 general elections.
