The Court of Appeal, sitting in Abuja, has nullified the election of the Senator representing Adamawa-North Senatorial district in the National Assembly, Ishaku Abbo.

Recall that Abbo was elected in February 2023 under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC).
The Court of Appeal voided the election of Abbo and ruled in favour of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amos Yohanna. He was declared the runner-up by the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC).
The APC senator confirmed the development to newsmen that the court voided his election in favour of Amos Yohanna. The Senator, on his verified Facebook page, stated: “The Court Appeal in Abuja just voided my election. The gang up has temporarily worked. I will soon address the press.
Senator Abbo became infamous when he brutalised a nursing mother at an Abuja sex toy shop.
