In its bid to secure 27 million mandates from Nigerians for President Bola Tinubu in 2027, the All Support Groups Network (ASGN) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume for his support and contribution.

National Co-ordinator and CEO of the All Support Groups Network (ASGN), Alh. Mukhtar Bala, who addressed a press conference in Abuja at the kick-off of the engagement, done in collaboration between the ASGN and The Progressive Institute (TPI-Abuja), thanked the SGF, whom the group said remains a pillar of stability and a true progressive leader.

Alh. Mukhtar Bala said the Grand Strategic Mobilization of 27 Million votes rests on six pillars, which it says shall reach every village, market, farm, and every street to ensure the continuity of the APC’s Renewed Hope Agenda come 2027.

He said ” It is not just a target, it is a movement. We are building a coalition that ensures the continuity of the Renewed Hope agenda by engaging the real stakeholders of the Nigerian economy”.

He added that “To achieve this, we are moving in lockstep with our esteemed partner organizations who represent the core of our productive population, the AFAN (All Farmers Association of Nigeria) who are the foot soldiers of our food security, and RIFAN (Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria) who are the pioneers of our self-sufficiency revolution.

Others include TOAN (Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria) who, he said, are the vital link in our urban transport and grassroots economy, SUFAPAN (Sugarcane Farmers and Producers Association of Nigeria) the drivers of our agro-industrial expansion, Gold Miners, Processors and Marketers Association of Nigeria, the vanguards of our economic diversification in the solid minerals sector, and the Cooperative Federation of Nigeria, “through these six pillars, we shall reach every village, every market, every farm, and every street to secure the 27 million mandates needed to keep Nigeria on the path of progress”.

Alh. Mukhtar Bala said that to further solidify President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s legacy, “we are here also for the pre-launch of a landmark book that meticulously chronicles these milestones, ensuring that the successes of his administration are documented for history and used as a tool for public enlightenment”.

Director General (DG) of the Progressive Institute (TPI-Abuja), Dr. Olanrewaju J. Adebayo, in his speech, said from the massive infrastructural revolution to the stabilization of our economy and the expansion of social safety nets, these illustrations provide visual evidence of a Nigeria that is steadily rising.

While reiterating the support of Senator George Akume, Adebayo said ASGN will engage farmers, tricycle owners, sugarcane farmers, gold miners, processors and marketers and that the landmark book launch aims to reflect on the achievements and journey of the last three years under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
