Bandits kill 39 persons in a reprisal attack in Zamfara

A group of unrepentant bandits have stormed Faru Village of Maradun local government area of Zamfara State killing about forty innocent persons. Confirming the incident to Radio Nigeria in Gusau,  an eyewitness Ahmad Lawali said the attack was a reprisal mission in the Faru district of Maradun local government area of the state. The Nigerian Army has disclosed that its troops of 8 Division have eliminated an unspecified number of bandits in fierce encounters in Talatan-Marafa local government areas of Zamfara.
