Troops of the Nigerian Army deployed for the North-West Joint Task Force ‘Operation Hadarin Daji’ have neutralised scores of bandits and rescued eight kidnapped victims in its areas of responsibility in Zamfara State. At least 50 people, including a district head, women and children, have been abducted while three others were reportedly killed in an attack by bandits in Bagega, a mining village in Zamfara State.
