The Nigerian Economic Summit Group, (NESG), has said that many Nigerians are expected to fall into the poverty trap amid rising unemployment in the country. Botswanas unemployment rate keeps rising

Botswanas unemployment figures are swelling in spite of governments efforts to solve the problem, the Country Statistician-General, Burton Mguni, said. Unemployment rate went up by 1.3 percentage points, from 23.2 per cent in quarter one of 2020, to 24.5 per cent in quarter four 2020, said Mguni. Unemployed charged with defiling 13-year-old girl

An Ikeja Magistrates Court on Wednesday ordered the remand of an unemployed 20-year-old Toheeb Mustapha, who allegedly inserted his finger into a minors private part. The defendant, who resides in Ighando, is standing trial on a count charge involving defilement. The Magistrate, Mrs A.O Ajibade, who did not take the defendants plea, referred the case file to the states Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice.
