The Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN), has reaffirmed confidence in the leadership of the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III as the President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, (NSCIA). The Muslim Rights Concern, (MURIC), has condemned the order given by the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe for the dissolution of the independent Shari’ah Panel in Ekiti State, describing it as ‘illegal, illegitimate, unlawful and unconstitutional’.
