Delegates to the 13th National Delegates Conference of the Forum of State Independent Electoral Commissions of Nigeria, in Jos, Plateau State have rejected calls for the scrapping of the State Independent Electoral Commissions, (SIECs). The All-Progressives Congress, (APC), has scored the Rivers State Electoral Commission, (RSIEC), high in the conduct of the Local Government Council elections in the State. The Party also condemned the burning of the factional secretariat of the party in the State, describing it as barbaric.
