Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori, of Delta State, has donated 65 new Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to traditional rulers in the state for their critical role in ensuring good governance. Oborevwori, who described the traditional institution as “a tool for service”, for guardians of peace and stability, presented the cars to the royal fathers at the Government House, Asaba. The Delta Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in Asaba on Friday affirmed Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the duly elected governor of Delta. This was after it dismissed a petition filed by Chief Ovie Omo-Agege, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) challenging the March 18 election.
