Media to inaugurate National Complaints Commission

In the bid to strengthen public confidence in the media as a credible barometer of public opinion, the Nigerian media will on Monday inaugurate the nine-member board of the National Media Complaints Commission (NMCC), otherwise known as the National Ombudsman. Nigeria’s ambassador to Germany blames ‘negative media’ for fuelling insecurity

Nigeria’s ambassador to Germany Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, has said that ‘negative media reports’ are to be blamed for rising insecurity in the West African country.
