There are strong indications that the $2 billion, about N1.54 trillion, Kano-Maradi railway line that links Nigeria and Niger Republic will have over 100 bridges and three side camps among other facilities when completed. Buhari approves $1.9bn for Kano-Niger Republic rail line

The President Muhammadu Buhari administration has approved for the construction of a rail line that will link Nigeria to Niger Republic. The government approved $1,959,744,723.71 for this project. The Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, made this disclosure on Thursday. The agreement was reached at the Federal Executive Council, FEC presided over by Buhari.
