Movement was halted on the ever-busy Kaduna-Abuja highway yesterday, as residents of Gonin-Gora suburb took to the street to protest rising cases of kidnapping in the area. Gonin Gora is in Chikun local government area of Kaduna State. Recently, four people were reportedly abducted by bandits from their residences in Ungwan-Auta. The protesters, mostly women and youths gathered at the main highway around 10 am demanding an end to the incessant kidnapping in the community.
