The Northern Elders Forum, (NEF), have said they were aware of alleged attempts by some politicians interested in contesting the 2023 presidential election to weaken the North on many fronts in the aftermath of #EndSARS protest. President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday advised Nigerian youths to try to maintain peace and allow the present crop of leaders to exit the stage honourably. The President gave this advice yesterday at State House, Abuja, while receiving in audience the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, (UN), Amina Mohammed, who was one-time Nigerias former Minister of Environment, in reaction to the recent #EndSARS agitations around some parts of the country.
