The Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari and Permanent Secretary, State House, Tijjani Umar, on Monday received the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, at the State House Clinic, Abuja. By Ishaku Yohanna The World Health Organisation, (WHO)-led COVAX Global Initiative has excluded Nigeria from African countries shortlisted for the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccines following the countrys inability to meet the standard requirement of being able to store the vaccines at the required -70 degrees Celsius.
