A separatist group, the Biafra National Guard (BNG), yesterday, went live with a declaration on Facebook a sovereign State of Biafra
This is coming after twenty-four hours of a shooting incident with men of the Nigerian Army, where they reportedly lost one member.
The separatist movement, which is led by a self-styled Innocent Orji, previously demanded the release of “all Biafran prisoners of conscience” or Biafra will be redeclared a sovereign State.
Orji has been wanted by Nigeria security for over 10 years now, according to findings.
Also, the wife, Chinyere Orji, was arrested at the home of Orji some 13 years ago with pregnancy and delivered in prison and still in prison since then with her baby, I think, still awaiting trial, according to a source.
