President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday presided over a security meeting held at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, in Abuja.
The meeting had in attendance the Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, National Security Adviser, and Ministers.
The nation’s service chiefs, acting Inspector-General of Police, and heads of other security agencies were also in attendance.
The meeting, which commenced about 10 am, is holding at the Conference Hall of the Office of the First Lady.
As of the time of filing this report, the details of the meeting were yet to be made public but the meeting comes few hours after news broke of an attempted armed robbery attack on the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.
