Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have described the resignation of the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, as part of the party’s evolution and reaffirmed their support for President Bola Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda.

Rising from a two-day meeting in Benin City hosted by Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) pledged to deepen economic reforms, enhance security, and strengthen grassroots governance.
In a communiqué read by PGF Chairman and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, the governors welcomed Akwa Ibom Governor, Umo Eno to the APC, praised Tinubu’s policies, and promised continued collaboration to boost investment, job creation, and security.
They expressed condolences to families affected by insecurity in Benue and Niger States, pledged support for security agencies, and honoured the Late Alhaji Aminu Ɗantata with a minute’s silence.
Governors from Imo, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Benue, Kogi, Ebonyi, Kebbi, Kwara, Cross River, Ogun, and Edo attended the meeting.
