G-77 Summit: Shettima urges cooperation to address global challenges

Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima, has said world leaders must always remember that cooperation is the compass and the most realistic path towards maximising opportunities and resolving current challenges confronting the global community.

Shettima, who disclosed this in his address to World leaders at the G77+China Leaders’ Summit, which held at the Palace Convention in Havana, Cuba.

In his address, Vice-President underscored the need for unity and collaboration among nations to maximise opportunities and find realistic solutions to the world’s pressing issues.

Shettima stressed that “cooperation is our compass and the most realistic path towards maximizing the opportunities and resolving challenges before us”.

The summit drew Heads of State, government representatives, and delegates from over 100 countries from the global South.
