Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has refuted reports of curfew imposition on the State following the looting of government properties in the State capital yesterday by hoodlums during the nationwide protests against hardship and hunger in the State.

Governor Sani, who took to the of official Facebook page of the State governor yesterday afternoon, noted that the situation was under control.
The Governor posted: “No curfew has been imposed in Kaduna as we speak. Everything is under control”.
It was gathered that hoodlums who allegedly infiltrated the hardship protesters yesterday, set a portion of the Kaduna State Transport Law Authority (KASTLEA) office ablaze and carted away some properties belonging to the agency.
They also torched the headquarters of the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency, (KADIPA), vandalising the building.
Unconfirmed reports said the criminal elements further looted an apartment belonging to a military officer.
The reports stated that the attacks on the Government offices were taking place at the same time when #EndBadGovernance protesters took to the streets to protest against hardship and hunger in the country.
