Kaduna State Commissioner of Information and Culture, Ahmed Maiyaƙi, has continued his statewide media engagement tour with a visit to Atar Communications Nigeria Ltd., owners of Liberty Radio and Television.

During the visit, the Commissioner emphasised the need for stronger collaboration between the Ministry and media organisations to combat misinformation and promote accurate reporting of government policies and programmes.

He noted that the media plays a vital role in shaping public perception and building trust between the Government and citizens, stressing that it is a shared responsibility to ensure people have access to credible and development-oriented information.

Responding on behalf of Atar Communications, the General Manager, Marketing Services, Mukaila Ibrahim, commended Governor Uba Sani for fulfilling his campaign promises, particularly in rural transformation and healthcare delivery. He reaffirmed Liberty Radio/TV’s commitment to supporting government initiatives through fair and objective reporting.

The Commissioner’s ongoing media tour aims to strengthen government-media relations and promote open communication channels across Kaduna State.
