President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with various representatives of traditional rulers across Nigeria with emphasis on the six geopolitical zones.
The traditional institutions to the meeting is led by the Sultan of Sokoto, Hius Eminence Muhammed Saad Abubakar the 3rd.
The meeting taking place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, reports says has in attendance the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ife, the Emir of Kano, Etsu Nupe, Chairman, Imo State Traditional rulers among others. The genda of the meeting though not made public, sources say it may not be unconnected to national unity and the recent nationwide upheavals and protest against Police brutality.
