Zamfara govt suspends Emir, District Head over alleged involvement in banditry

The Emir of Maru, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim and the District Head of Kanoma town, Alhaji Ahmed Lawal have been suspended by the Zamfara State government. They have been asked to step aside for their alleged involvement in armed banditry activities.
